Aldatus Z

Aldatus Z is a product of Aldato. Aldato`s dam Omana also produced the showjumping horses Laconda and Lausanne, and descends from the lineage of Finnlanderin, that generated famous stallions such as Radetzky, Don Primero, Rasputin as well as the dressage horse Mariano.

Aldato himself had a successful career in the sport and was the 1983 `Siegerhengst` at the stallion selection. He brought forth several selected sons and showjumpers, such as Andiamo and Astragon I (dressage). Dam Caprice was started in showjumping and later produced the sport mare Lastrada.

As an 8-yr-old Aldatus Z won several Grand Prix. In 1994 he became Reserve Champion of Germany, European Champion with the German Young Riders team and won the Benelux Championship for licensed stallions. In 1995 he was Dutch Champion ridden by Jos Lansink and won the World Cup Qualification in Monterrey. In 1996 he won in the WEG in The Hague and came second in the World Championship for Licensed Stallions in Lanaken.

Sired by Aldatus Z, Abba Z is a succesfull broodmare bred to the stallion Taloubet Z she is the mother of Take a Chance On Me Z who is a leading international stallion competed by Christian Ahlmann.
